I've finally decided to post something in this forgotten blog.
I have a LJ but it is for more personal posts rather than silly nonsense (although I tend
to write some silly stuff in there from time to time).
I figured I could have a blog where I post more pictures and share more about
my life and mostly my hobbies.
I've started making things and selling them. Mostly accessories with the
inspiration of Decora/Shibuya/Harajuku (Which are fashion styles and areas in Tokyo, JP)
I love Japan. I really do. They're so...creative and very bright.
I'm not putting their race above any other, but I do admire the Japanese!
Much of my inspiration is from there. I also enjoy video-games, martial arts, sporty cars,
and of course COSPLAY. If you don't know what cosplay is...
it is short for "costume-play". Yes.
I make my own costumes and maybe next year I will do commissions.
For now I'm just working on easier things such as hats, scarves, wrist cuffs, bows
and other types of accessories. I find it so hard to sleep at night.
My mind is so visual and imaginative. I always get ideas at night and sometimes
I have to grab my sketchpad and draw them down.
I was once told, "Ideas are gold. They're also like water...they shower out the fountain
and are down the drain if you don't capture them in time." So it is always
good to have a sketchpad nearby! :)
Ah, I didn't think I'd write too much. I suppose I will go now. It's been a long day and I still feel like making a few more iPhone/iPod pouches. I made one last night and I like it, but I'll probably sell it. I need more money for lots of things... I hope I get a job soon. :(
