Halloween & Costumes & Contests. Oh My!

Happy belated Halloween!

I wish I would have posted a blog on Halloween but I was totally swamped (okay not really) but I WAS busy working on this ridiculously simple Cosplay costume and then left to help set up a party for a friend.

This year felt different, aside from the fact that I didn't feel so tempted to trick-or-treat. I also didn't dress up as anything scary either. I dressed as Miyuki from LuckyStar (A Japanese animation and manga character). I made her gym outfit which was really just me altering certain articles of clothing and wearing a long pink wig. Yeah, I kind of just relaxed this year. Didn't even carve a pumpkin. :(

Oh! I also entered myself into a contest that Cosmode (a very popular cosplay magazine) is holding. The winners will get a section in the magazine where it will talk about the costumes you have made and a small about you section. I've already been put in the magazine before but I was in the Japanese one and still haven't bought a copy of it! (I need to though!) I also am going to enter my Chelsea Tone cosplay into the Anime Secrets Costume Contest. I got honorable mention last time but this time I want to wiiiin....It will be nice if I do, if not..oh well ;/
