I have this blog for any of my Fashion and Art nonsense but I rarely update it so feel free to follow my other blog. It is mostly about my cosplay but I also add some of my personal crap too. :3

Halloween & Costumes & Contests. Oh My!

Happy belated Halloween!

I wish I would have posted a blog on Halloween but I was totally swamped (okay not really) but I WAS busy working on this ridiculously simple Cosplay costume and then left to help set up a party for a friend.

This year felt different, aside from the fact that I didn't feel so tempted to trick-or-treat. I also didn't dress up as anything scary either. I dressed as Miyuki from LuckyStar (A Japanese animation and manga character). I made her gym outfit which was really just me altering certain articles of clothing and wearing a long pink wig. Yeah, I kind of just relaxed this year. Didn't even carve a pumpkin. :(

Oh! I also entered myself into a contest that Cosmode (a very popular cosplay magazine) is holding. The winners will get a section in the magazine where it will talk about the costumes you have made and a small about you section. I've already been put in the magazine before but I was in the Japanese one and still haven't bought a copy of it! (I need to though!) I also am going to enter my Chelsea Tone cosplay into the Anime Secrets Costume Contest. I got honorable mention last time but this time I want to wiiiin....It will be nice if I do, if not..oh well ;/

Halloween is coming.

Know what that means? Time to design my Halloween costume. Due to my lame amount of money this year though, I'll be throwing stuff together rather than totally starting from scraps. It's unfortunate but I'll still be dressing up and making my own costume.

I already have the tore up, rugged skirt, the wings, blue wig, striped tights, shoes and tail but I'll need to work on the shirt by cutting the sleeves off a white shirt I never wear, adding black lace (I'll pleat it) and make the cute ribbons that go on her hair and tail.

Oh, I haven't even said who I will be dressing up for. Well for the Ani-Jam Halloween Event I will go as a Halloween version of Dizzy. For the other parties I was invited to I'm not sure if I will dress up as something else or be the same. I don't know. For now though, I have this sketch I did earlier to work off of. :3
[I kind of wish I owned a pair of hardcore black heels, but the only ones I have are about 3inches ;/]

Ignore the fact that one arm is longer than the other. I fixed it earlier but forgot to save over the old one...

Sick Days and cosplays

Alright,

So I haven't really posted in this blog anything about cosplay. I wanted it to mostly be about Fashion, or my interest in Fashion Design... but I'm thinking it should be just about my creative side in general. There are already enough blogs on fashion critiquing and advice. I figured it would be more interesting to just post all types of my creativity. Even if this blog is never seen by anyone...I still love blogging. xD

Today I'm feeling a bit sick. I'm watching a chick flick... "13 going on 30". I love thinking of the idea of working on a Fashion studio or even a video-game studio. Designing clothes or costumes is a dream for me. I even love interior design. The thought of taking something as your canvas..and creating something new out of it is just beautiful. I thank God for my creativity. He's the most creative one of all...because the design of the human body is gorgeous. :}

In anycase...If you do read this blog, thank you and feel free to leave any types of comments..I will reply too, i'm not a robot blogger who doesn't respond to their followers. (Unless I get 500 comments--ehh that would be overwhelming XD)

I have done other cosplays but I don't feel like spamming my post with even more pictures. I'm working on some more costumes but it's been going slow due to low finances. I'm still trying to sell more things I've been making. I've made some bows, bags, lolita accessories and plan on making some skirts... Ahhh..I just love sewing and running around in costumes. Such a joy ^~^!
